Pizza Rut
Hello PEOPLE! I hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather, it is starting to smell like fall and there are leaves everywhere… ahh… This is my favorite season. Now that we have been in school for a few weeks, I have noticed that a lot of people (myself included) have been eating the same thing everyday for lunch and dinner. I personally, have gotten myself into quite a bit of a pizza rut. I have eaten nothing but pizza for a few days now, and I am paying the price dearly. I never want to look at a slice of pizza for at least a month. Now I guess you’re asking the question: “James.. How could this predicament be avoided so that I too in the future do not develop a hatred for the delicious triangles of Italian-ness?” Well my fellow lover of all that is delicious and triangle, the answer to your question is quite simple. EAT SOMETHING ELSE. Seriously. Do it. I know it sounds like a no-brainer, but next time you go for that slice of pizza, say to yourself: “Self, I had 8 slices of this stuff yesterday didn’t I?” and go for a sandwich or a salad or some chicken. There are a variety of foods available in the dining hall, so use this to your advantage. Besides the fear of hating pizza the rest of your life, you really should be eating different foods because it is just plain good for you. A balanced diet is important for everyone and it will not only make you feel better during the day, you will be more focused during class and have more energy to handle the daily hectic life of a college student.
Have a good lunch!
James (Lord of the delicious triangles of love…and cheese.)
Peaceful Protests at UML

The Tectonic Theater Project visited the town of Laramie one month later and returned several times over the next year to conduct interviews with the people of Laramie and those related to the story.

It’s Finally the Weekend!
I don’t know about you guys but this past week seemed like it was never going to end! So this weekend is going to be me sitting around relaxing (finally)! Although I’m not really looking forward to the weekend ending either because next week I have an Organic Chemistry exam and the week following that I have a Microbiology exam. I just got out of an exam! So if you’re ever feeling like me, completely overwhelmed with all the exams and homework make sure you utilize the things UMass Lowell has to offer such as tutoring and the library!
Tutors are students, like us, that have gotten a B+ in the class they are tutoring or better. They take the time to explain something to you that your professors may go over quickly and they will work with you until you get it!
The library is also a great place to go to study. It is always quiet and there are less things to distract you there. If you do, however, want to study with a group, you can always go up to the second or third floor because you can usually be a little bit louder up there. The library is an especially nice place to go during finals week!
Well I hope everyone has a great weekend and is prepared/preparing for any upcoming exams!

Feel like your time on campus is not as exciting as it could be? Do you feel like you need to prepare for a zombie apocalypse? Do you have class on south campus!? Then UML’s game of Humans Vs. Zombies is the game for you! Basically this is how it works. You all sign up at this site right here: http://umasslowell.hvzsource.com/index.php
Once you sign up, you will either be assigned as a HUMAN (resistance) or you will be the original ZOMBIE (hord) Humans will wear a bandanna provided by the people who run the game around their arm, and it will say HUMAN on it. Zombies will wear the bandanna that says ZOMBIE on it on their forehead. Now, it is the humans job to stay alive by avoiding the zombies. The humans won’t be defenseless though! All humans are allowed to have 6 seed packets on their person at all times, and if a zombie is hit by one of these packets, a zombie will become stunned for 15 minutes before he or she can attack again, giving ample time to the human to run away to a safe zone. All indoor buildings and sidewalks will be called *safe zones* and zombies cannot maul humans while they are in the safe zones. It is the zombies goal to eat all the humans (this is done by tagging one of them) and once a human is tagged by a zombie, they too become a zombie!! A zombie must tag a human once every two days, otherwise the zombie will *starve* and die and not be a part of the game any more. Now there are also special missions that humans will go on and if the succeed, then humans will be granted special items to help defend themselves against a zombie such as an extra life, or being able to not wear your bandanna for a day so zombies wont know if you’re playing or not! On the other side, zombies also get upgrades too from time to time… but you will have to play to find out what they are! The game is over when either all the zombies die, or all of the humans are turned into zombies. Its a great way to have fun on campus during the school day and its a great game to play with your friends, so team up, join on the site that is provided and happy hunting! (more in depth rules are provided on the site)
Good luck being the last human alive,
James ( <— Will probably not be the last human alive)
