Virtual tour, but make it personal

virtual tour summer 2020 meet the tour guides

The UMass Lowell campus might be closed, but that doesn’t mean you need to press pause on exploring your options for the future! We may not be physically on campus, but there are plenty of virtual opportunities to help you connect with us, like our student-led virtual tours.

During our student-led virtual tours, you will have the chance to chat with a current UML student for an hour about their experiences here as they lead you through the virtual tour. It’s the perfect way to get personalized and one-on-one answers to your questions and learn more about UMass Lowell. All from the comfort of your home.

Westford, Mass.

What are you involved in on campus?

I’m a resident advisor, in the student government, a campus tour captain and an orientation leader.

What’s your favorite thing about UML?

It has to be the people. Everyone from students to faculty. UML fosters such a supportive and friendly environment. I keep finding ways to get more involved in the campus community so that I can meet as many people and create as many professional relationships as possible!

What has been keeping you busy during the pandemic? I have been walking my neighbor’s crazy (but adorable) Golden Retriever. I also started the Netflix series “Outer Banks,” which I am now addicted to.

What are you involved in on campus?

I’m in the Marching Band, Concert Band and I am a German tutor in the Centers for Learning,

What’s your favorite thing about UML?

My favorite thing is the different feel on each campus. North Campus is steps from downtown Lowell and has a busy, city feel. And all the greenspace on South Campus gives it a smaller, liberal arts college feel. I also like how, even with these different vibes between campuses, UML benefits from the resources that come with being a larger university.

What has been keeping you busy during the pandemic? I have watched so much Netflix, specifically “Arrested Development” and “New Girl.” I have also been on my skateboard and unicycle.
