I have been through many surprises while i’m in India, but one of my favorite was going to an orphanage. On January 1, 20016 which was the first day of new year, we have decided to go to a lake to see the sunset; but here comes the surprise, I went on a richa with Brian and Dan along with Antonio, Christina, and Joe. First I didn’t know that we’re going to an orphanage because other students are going to the lake. So we went to a supermarket and they start grabbing a lot of stuff like tooth brush, tooth paste, books, pencils, and some food. I started to ask them why do need all these stuff. So they answered me “What do you think?”, i has no idea so I asked them “Aren’t we going to the lake?” and they was like “OH my god Krin, you think we’re still going to the lake?”. They explained every to me and that’s then I was so surprised and happy at the same time that we’re going this. I have been to Thai orphanage before so I want to see what it like to go to India orphanage.
The orphanage that we went is also a school which once they’re graduated they will get a certificates, and they can use that certificated to apply in to a university. When we first got there, they make us sit and explain to the children about why we’re here and where we’re came from. Then I have a change to play with them and talk to them. They are so happy that we’re playing with them. What surprised me even more was their talent. After we talked for a while, they start showing us some dance. It was really good and it’s something that I can’t do like back flip and b-boy. This is something that if I just one to india for travel with the tour, I wouldn’t have any kind go experience like this. Best thing about this trip is you get to go to a place that only local people knows. go to a restaurant that local people went, and building friendship with many people.
