Well hello all,
I’m Ashley! I wrote the first giant intro blog, but didn’t really introduce MYSELF!
Soooo! Here I go…
I’m a Junior (Senior next semester, YIKES!) Psychology major specializing in Developmental Disabilities and minoring in Education. I have no idea what I want to do with it; maybe I’ll teach or be a guidance counselor or school psychologist….or a broadway star. I’ll know when I get there!
I’m involved in a handful of things on campus! I am the Orientation Operations Manager and was an Orientation Leader the last two summers. I’m also a returning Orientation Ambassador. That being said, I’ve been trained multiple times and have TONS of information stored up in this brain of mine. Make sure you ask me QUESTIONS! I would love to help you out!!
I’m also a Resident Advisor for the school! I currently am an RA at the ICC! It’s so cool to be downtown, I can walk around and find a new place to eat, shop, or hang out every day!! I was also an RA in Bouge last year, and lived in Bouge my freshman year…so I know A LOT about the residence halls. 🙂
I used to play Women’s Rugby but due to an injury I can no longer play. If you’re interested in learning a new sport, rugby is really awesome. Contact Jessica_Yu@student.uml.edu 🙂 She’s another ambassador!!
If there’s one thing you should know about me is that I LOVE to sing! I’ve been singing every since I stole the microphone from Barney at a family function. I love being on stage and LOVE musicals! I’ve been in choirs and show choirs my whole life! (AND I LOVE GLEE!…Obviously!) I am involved with the Off-Broadway Players here at UML and love doing musicals with them! It’s so much fun! I was also in University Choir which gave me some extra credits so I can graduate early! And recently I joined the UML Gospel Choir! It’s wicked fun and so different, so check it out if you have time on Mondays @ the ICC @ 8pm!
Well, that’s just a little information on me!! If you have any questions or comments, holler at me!
