The deadline for registration changes – Wednesday, September 15, 2010<\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This includes the following:<\/p>\n

‘ last day to add into courses<\/p>\n

‘ last day to drop courses and not pay tuition and fees<\/p>\n

‘ last day for undergraduate students to change course status to pass\/no credit<\/p>\n

‘ last day for all students to change course status to audit is<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Please note that undergraduate students must use permission numbers to add courses after September 8, 2010. Graduate students may add courses through September 15, 2010.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The waitlist function ends 9\/8\/10. All undergraduate level courses need permission numbers to enroll into courses. The following describes what a permission number can and cannot do.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What a Permission Number will do:<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b><\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will allow a student to register for a course that is filled.<\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will allow a student to register for a course if the student does not have the pre-requisite course listed on their ISIS transcript.<\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will allow an undergraduate student to register for a graduate course.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What a Permission Number will not do:<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b><\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will not<\/b> allow a student to register for a course if the student has a service indicator (hold) flag. The Ethnicity Survey and Probationary service indicators will not prevent students from registering.<\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will not<\/b> allow a student to register for a course beyond the academic calendar dates. For this semester that date is September 15, 2010*.<\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will not<\/b> allow a student to register for a course if the student is not enrolled in the co-requisite course.<\/p>\n

‘ A permission number will not<\/b> allow someone to register if they are not an active student at UMassLowell. <\/p>\n
