As many of you (hopefully!) learned at O2K9, the online registration system UML uses is ISIS. The system is used by many colleges and allows students to sign up for classes right from their computer at home, which is awesome. <\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

What’s even more awesome is that ISIS is being upgraded to the 9.0 version, which means things for us future students will be even easier from now on!
<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition to being faster and more efficient, the new system is said to come equipped with many new functionalities for students and faculty.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

As STUDENTS, we will be able to view:<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

*Student Center information<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

*Course history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

*Student planner<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

*Shopping cart<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

*”My requirement” section<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

One important thing to remember about ISIS is that the new changes take time. The IT department has kindly warned us that as the upgrade takes place, access to the “old” ISIS will have limited access- i.e. cannot be used. <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

From NOVEMBER 24 to DECEMBER 2, ISIS WILL NOT BE UP AND RUNNING. <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Once again, Nov. 24-Dec. 2, ISIS will not be available for use. Write that down!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

So what does that mean? Register for your classes as soon as possible!<\/p>\n
