Berlin was the first city I visited outside of Italy after arriving in Europe. It is a city filled with amazing architecture and great historical locations to visit. I will say, the food was not the best if you are looking for traditional German food, since it is such a big city I found that the best restaurants tended to be other styles of cuisine.

My favorite place was the Brandenburg Gate.
