There have been a couple meetings already and much of the focus has been on discussing time reporting self-service functionality.<\/p>\n<p>See the full charter below and contact a committee member if you have issues, concerns, compliments, ideas, etc. that you want to share.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h1><strong><font color=\"#365f91\" size=\"5\">HR Direct Advisory Committee<\/font><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\" size=\"3\"><\/font><\/p>\n<h2><strong><font size=\"4\"><font color=\"#4f81bd\">Overview:<\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><font color=\"#000000\">This committee will provide advice, input, and direction to the Human Resource Process Owner and HR Direct Project Manager regarding matters affecting technology utilization and functionality across human resources and payroll. Particular focus will be on areas associated with PeopleSoft employee and manager self-service. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<h2><strong><font color=\"#4f81bd\" size=\"4\">Purpose<\/font><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\" size=\"3\">The HR Direct Advisory Committee is a non-voting, advisory committee. Its primary role is to<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\" size=\"3\">provide input, advice, and information to the HR Process Owner to facilitate decision making<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\" size=\"3\">when the project team requires guidance.<\/font><\/p>\n<h2><strong><font color=\"#4f81bd\" size=\"4\">Objectives<\/font><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\" size=\"3\">The objectives of this committee are to: <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">provide advice and input to the HR Process Owner and Project Manager on matters relating to the HR Direct application<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">relay issues and concerns from members&#8217; constituents and stakeholders<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">stay current with HR Direct implementation progress and to promote awareness with their constituents and stakeholders<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">assist with roadmap development and issue resolution <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<h2><strong><font color=\"#4f81bd\" size=\"4\">Responsibilities<\/font><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Provide insight and advice from the perspective of represented stakeholders and constituents.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Serve as communication conduit to and from associated constituencies. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Support HR Direct project by regularly attending and actively participating in meetings.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Provide input on issues as may be presented by the Project Manager<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Provide advice and counsel to the HR Process Owner and Project Manager. Act as &#8216;sounding board&#8217; for issues brought forward by the HR Direct project team.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><i><\/i><\/p>\n<h2><strong><font color=\"#4f81bd\" size=\"4\">Scope<\/font><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Employee self-service <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Manager self-service<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\"><font size=\"3\">&#8216;<\/font> <font size=\"3\">Other system utilization outside of the Human Resource and Payroll offices (e.g. timekeepers; reporting; integration)<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<h2><strong><font color=\"#4f81bd\" size=\"4\">Deliverables<\/font><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\" size=\"3\">The deliverables will evolve throughout the engagement.
