Together we can help your student make the most of his or her time at UMass Lowell by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>keeping you informed about campus news and activities<\/li><li>hosting events throughout the year where you will meet other parents, interact with key faculty and administrators and get to know the campus and the city<\/li><li>taking your suggestions on ways to improve our support and services to both you and your student<\/li><li>helping you take advantage of all that UMass Lowell and the city of Lowell have to offer<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>From the time you first step on campus until the time we see you at commencement &#8211; and beyond &#8211; the Office of Family Programs is here to serve and support you and your student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we talk about family, we mean anyone that is part of a student\u2019s support network. We recognize that how people define family is as vibrant and diverse as the students on our campus. Family can mean a parent, grandparent, sibling, spouse, close friend, community member, immediate family, or extended family.
