He has been hired at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uml.edu\/Images\/Adili-Abiti_tcm18-345765.jpg?w=x\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"466\" \/><figcaption><strong>Prof. Abiti Adili<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Adil&#8217;s scholarship has concentrated on identification of new wave phenomena due to subwavelength resonances and multiple scattering as well as developing numerical methods for solving related eigenvalue problems. His current research focuses on accurate multi-scale analysis of heterogeneous media with non well separated length scales.&nbsp;Before coming to UML, Adil worked at Franklin &amp; Marshall College.&nbsp;He&nbsp;received his Ph.D &nbsp;from Louisiana State University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to welcome Professor Abiti Adili to the UML Mathematical Sciences faculty.
