We’ve safely landed in Fort Lauderdale, but now our 7:50 flight has been delayed to 8:40 now (but likely later than that) due to a mechanical issue with the plane. All we can do is sit and wait. As much as waiting sucks, I’d rather wait and have a safe flight. We’re trying to pass the time by reading, journaling (or blogging), and using our phones to browse the web or call our loved ones to relay our situation to them. I split a turkey sandwich with one of the other girls, but I’m kind of hungry again. Hopefully we’ll be boarding soon.
