Hello world we\u2019ve landed in Monteverde, St. Elena Costa Rica.\u00a0 The drive up was the most treacherous I\u2019ve ever been on, but we joked, teased and supported each other along the way.\u00a0 Snapping pictures occupied our time when we discovered the road was closed and the alternative was muddy.\u00a0 The driver got us through ok and we arrived in one piece.<\/p>\n
We quickly settled and did what most people do, we went to check out the shopping and dining.\u00a0 Both are more than adequate with many souvenir shops and funky places to eat.\u00a0 The rain soon started and like San Jose, it rained like I\u2019ve never seen, but only for a short time.\u00a0 We headed\u00a0to The Tree House for dinner \u2013 a very unusual restaurant that\u2019s build around a tree, we had\u00a0dinner then listened to live music.\u00a0 We\u2019re all had a great time.<\/p>\n
