The UMass Lowell campus might be closed, but that doesn\u2019t mean you need to press pause on exploring your options for the future! We may not be physically on campus, but there are plenty of virtual opportunities to help you connect with us, like our student-led virtual tours<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During our student-led virtual tours, you will have the chance to chat with a current UML student for an hour about their experiences here as they lead you through the virtual tour. It\u2019s the perfect way to get personalized and one-on-one answers to your questions and learn more about UMass Lowell. All from the comfort of your home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a resident advisor,\nin the student government, a campus tour captain and an orientation leader. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite thing about UML? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has to be the\npeople. Everyone from students to faculty. UML fosters such a supportive and\nfriendly environment. I keep finding ways to get more involved in the campus\ncommunity so that I can meet as many people and create as many professional\nrelationships as possible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been keeping you busy during the pandemic?<\/strong> I have been walking my neighbor\u2019s crazy (but adorable) Golden Retriever. I also started the Netflix series \u201cOuter Banks,\u201d which I am now addicted to.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m in the Marching\nBand, Concert Band and I am a German tutor in the Centers for Learning,   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite thing about UML? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing is\nthe different feel on each campus. North Campus is steps from downtown Lowell\nand has a busy, city feel. And all the greenspace on South Campus gives it a\nsmaller, liberal arts college feel. I also like how, even with these different\nvibes between campuses, UML benefits from the resources that come with being a\nlarger university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been keeping you busy during the pandemic?<\/strong> I have watched so much Netflix, specifically \u201cArrested Development\u201d and \u201cNew Girl.\u201d I have also been on my skateboard and unicycle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing\nabout UML is the great community that we have here on campus. Everyone, including\nthe professors, is so friendly. Everyone here wants to see the students\nsucceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I watched all of \u201cRiverdale,\u201d even though the show is garbage. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing is\nhow everyone is treated as a person, not a number. Students matter to the\nfaculty here and it shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been watching so much \u201cShark Tank\u201d on TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing\nabout UML is the community on campus and the ease of getting involved. Also,\nbeing a tour guide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m the founder and\npresident of Poetry Club, and the poetry editor for \u201cThe Offering.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite thing about UML? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love the\natmosphere of campus, especially on South Campus. I also have met great friends\nand faculty. Off campus, I love downtown Lowell, specifically Mill No. 5. The\nhistory of the city is amazing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been keeping you busy during the\npandemic?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been watching YouTube videos about animals. I\u2019ve also been driving around exploring places and listening to \u201cThe Office Ladies\u201d podcast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
