From general financial aid questions to helping you navigate changes brought on by COVID-19, they\u2019re available to help you figure it all out. You can call them at 978-934-2000 or  send them an email at TheSolutionCenter@uml.edu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Find up-to-date information on COVID-19, student loans and financial aid<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to stay on top of what\u2019s happening with student loans and COVID-19 on a federal government level. That\u2019s why <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/announcements-events\/coronavirus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"the federal government set up a website (opens in a new tab)\">the federal government set up a website<\/a> to help keep you and other student loan borrowers informed about how COVID-19\u00a0 is impacting student loans, interest and payments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Some additional\nways you can fund your education at UML<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You should know that financial aid isn\u2019t the only way to fund your education at UMass Lowell. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uml.edu\/thesolutioncenter\/smart-money.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">There are numerous options available to you<\/a>. We have scholarships, work experiences, research opportunities and money management resources you can access. On top of helping you fund your journey at UML, these options will also help you gain confidence and experience in your field and build your professional network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>UMass Lowell\u2019s\nSpecial Circumstances Appeal Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you received a financial aid package, but you now feel like your financial status has changed, you can review our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uml.edu\/thesolutioncenter\/financial-aid\/Receiving-Aid\/Special-Circumstances\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">special circumstances appeal process<\/a>. Again, if you have any questions, you can call the Solution Center at 978-934-2000 or send them an email at  TheSolutionCenter@uml.edu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Tuition and Fees for next year<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many\npeople are asking us what tuition and fees will look like for next year. It\u2019s a\nvalid question and we hope to give you more clarity soon. Tuition and fees are\nset each year by the Board of Trustees. This typically happens in the late\nspring or early summer. We are still trying to see what our fall semester will\nlook like. New things come into focus consistently, but we still don\u2019t have the\nfull picture. Once we do, we can set a tuition and fee schedule for the fall.\nRest assured that student financial impact is at the forefront of the tuition\nconversations we are having.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are available and willing to help you\nduring this time.
